Events

Whether you are a believer or not, it's obvious the world is amassing some major events. It has been a wild week - especially for Libya, Turkey (earthquake), Thailand (flooding), and of course, here in America with the GOP debates. (Always entertaining in a sad sort of way.) Not to mention Occupy "Everywhere." (I think the sleeping masses are beginning to stir.) We also have a hurricane building as we speak.

So here are a few things I have my eye on:

We have a new moon in Scorpio on the 26th - which is supposed to be great for new beginnings. Or in my case new partnerships. You can read all about that here, and find out what that might mean for you.

The end of the Mayan calendar ends on Friday, if Dr. Calleman is correct, as his date is different from December 21, 2012. You can read about that here.

We have 11-11-11 coming up just around the corner and the Mayan elders have revealed some new information. They have always kept their traditions within their inner circles, but have now been instructed to perform all of their ceremonies in public. The Ceremony of The Thirteen Skulls was last performed 26,000 years ago. They will be traveling with the thirteen Crystal Skulls from New York to Los Angeles for the end ceremony on 11-11-11, with several stops along the way. You can read all about that here, just in case you are like me and had no idea what the Crystal Skulls are all about. Now I wish I was available to watch a ceremony - maybe in Sedona.

Dr. Kashonia has done an in-depth analysis on geomagnetic and total pole reversals, and how they may tie in with 2012 prophecy. You can read about that here, just in case that has been a concern of yours. As you can see - she has been busy. I always like her research because she uses a variety of sources and utilizes critical thinking in her analyses.

We had a major solar flare yesterday, compressing Earth's magnetic field, you can read about that here.

With all that's going on in the world right now, I guess it's time to relax, think good thoughts, make sure you are prepared in case of an emergency, and then hang on, because this roller coaster seems to be picking up speed.

Cycle 24

We are just now entering Cycle 24, which is the 24th solar cycle since 1755 - when sun spots were first recorded, and is, on average, a ten and a half year cycle. It should have begun two years ago, but the sun decided to take a sabatical and had one of the lowest cycles of solar activity ever recorded. So it is believed by some that the cycle is just now beginning. (9-11 happened at the peak of the last one.) Which may account for the tsunami in Japan, the tornadoes in the South, and the recent unrest in the Middle East.

It may be understandable as to how solar flares might affect weather conditions, but how would the sun affect what is going on in the Middle East?

You may want to refer back to my post on the energetic heart before reading further because it is all related. But in short, it is believed there is a correlation between what happens with the geomagnetic field, (the field that surrounds the earth, and protects it from solar flare particles), and humans. During high solar activity humans may be more tired, anxious, confused, irritated,  and less happy. There is also a direct correlation with hospital admissions, heart attacks, and traffic accidents.

We have a few more years of intensity before us, so it may behoove us to learn how to self-regulate as the geomagnetic fields are being bombarded with solar-flare particles. A large solar burst - an X flare - would affect us physcially, could blow out power grids, etc. So paying attention to what is happening with the sun may be important.

"The Global Coherence Initiative is a science based, co-creative project to unite people in heart-focused care and intention, to facilitate the shift in global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace." This website also offers information on their monitoring systems and  some very interesting findings: "For example, two or three weeks prior to earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, the earth's magnetic field changes, suggesting that a multistation monitoring system could predict earthquakes and volcanic eruptions." Which would allow human beings to prepare, of course.

Some of their findings include changes in the earth's magnetic field being associated with changes in brain and nervous system activity - including depression, incidences of suicide, memory loss, strokes, and the systhesis of  nutrients in plants and algea. There is also some evidence that when people say they can "feel" an impending planetary event - it may be scientifically based. They may be responding to actual physical signals that occur in the earth's geomagnetic field prior to an event.

We have always heard a full moon, thus gravity, has an effect on moods, but now we know we are  more wired to the pulses of the earth than we ever thought possible. It may be that we have a recipcrocal effect on the earth as well, but that will have to be for another post. In the meantime this website also has a "Live Data" tab that helps you keeps an eye on the sun, if you are so inclined.

Solar Winds

Have you noticed a change in your emotions over the last couple of days? Do you feel like you're about to go over the deep end? Maybe you are battling with others? Sad, feeling depressed? Or maybe you've had a burst of positive well being or energy?

Well, blame it on the solar winds! The sun had a major flare on the 15th, and the effects most certainly have an effect on our bodies and emotions. After all, we are electromagnetic beings. From Reuters:

Solar flares are intense, short-lived releases of energy. They show up as bright areas on the sun, producing high levels of radiation and charged particles that can intensify solar winds -- electrically charged particles continuously spewing outward from the sun. The Earth's magnetic field largely protects the planet from space weather. But massive solar flares can disrupt power grids, interfere with high-frequency airline and military communications, disrupt Global Positioning System signals and interrupt civilian communications, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which tracks solar flares.

So why wouldn't they effect us? We know the electromagnetic fields that protect earth are weakening. So doesn't it stand to reason that they just might have an affect on a human being?

P.S. A good example of this? I have absolutely no idea why part of this post is in tiny font! What's more? I cannot fix it!
