It's Good to Laugh

CMN posted this from Jim Self on the 4th Dimension and it is well worth your time. By the way, CMN has an interview coming up with Jim - probably the first of March. The first of the month is when they post their new interviews.

Living Fearlessly

Easier said than done. We are supposed to fear everything these days. The latest fear to hit our house is the vitamin scare. My husband, never a vitamin proponent, thinks I should fear my vitamins. After all, there is a new study somewhere that says vitamins may cause cancer. Well, I think fearing vitamins causing cancer, actually causes the cancer. Instead, I tell him, the pharmaceutical companies actually want to get a bill passed that would outlaw over-the-counter vitamins and require that we have to go to a doctor and get a Rx for our vitamins. Who do you suppose wins with that scenario?

We are being inundated with fear porn. I can't think of anything I'm just supposed to enjoy. So I'm consciously trying to shift my awareness to enjoying absolutely everything I can. If it's an icy cold Maker's Mark Manhattan served at our favorite restaurant, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy it! I know I'm not supposed to drink colored spirits, they're supposed to be bad for you, but I'm choosing instead to focus on what it is I like about that perfectly prepared luxury.

So when I came across this interview, I knew I was getting reinforcement that I'm heading in the right direction. It's time to live fearlessly. As Steve Jobs reminded us in his speech at Stanford University - "you have nothing to lose - you're already naked."

Meeting Your Mate

I have an ongoing theory that I haven't been shy about sharing with my family and friends. (With varying enthusiasm on their part, I might add.) Anyhoo, since I consider you to be in this category, I thought it was time to share my "Meeting Your Mate Theory," just in case you're in the market.

I don't believe we can find the right person to share our lives by thinking about the type of person we would like to meet. In other words, finding your mate is not about left-brained analytical theory. You can't decide he needs to have brown hair, blue eyes, stand 6.2", and make a six figure salary. Or in the case of a man - you cannot conjure up the woman who is going to love you through illness, loss of hair, and libido, by deciding she needs to look or act a certain way. The man or woman that will bring you happiness and contentment does not live in your head. They live in your heart.

So I believe the way to find your mate is to concentrate on what it feels like when you are with this person.

You do this by taking time to sit or lie quietly, relaxing deeply. Just before falling asleep is the perfect time.

Then just play with it. Play with the images that come to mind.

What are you feeling when you are with this person? If you like to hike - concentrate on what it feels like to be hiking with this person. Are you laughing? Are you both enjoying the moment? Is the sun shining? Are you relaxed and feeling content to be hiking with this person?

Time time to color in the scene. You are the artist - make it beautiful.

Now, what are you feeling in the next scene? Maybe this time you are having a meal and you are dining outside on your patio. How are you feeling? Are you relaxed and happy to be with this person? Maybe you are talking about something serious and you feel relieved that you have such an understanding person in your life to share this problem. You feel sure that his advice is well-considered as he is the type of person that really cares about you and wants to see you succeed.

The key is to not put a body or face on this person! This is about how you feel, not what you see!

My "Meeting Your Mate Theory" is all about being able to recognize the person you are meant to be with by how you are feeling when you meet them. Does that make sense? Instead of looking at someone and automatically categorizing them into a maybe or a no, you go by what your heart says when you meet someone. You already know what it is like to be with this person because your heart automatically recognizes a maybe when your brain may have automatically said no!

If you try this - make sure you give time for the Universe to organize a meeting. Be honest with yourself about how you want to feel living your life with this person. That's key.

Cycle 24

We are just now entering Cycle 24, which is the 24th solar cycle since 1755 - when sun spots were first recorded, and is, on average, a ten and a half year cycle. It should have begun two years ago, but the sun decided to take a sabatical and had one of the lowest cycles of solar activity ever recorded. So it is believed by some that the cycle is just now beginning. (9-11 happened at the peak of the last one.) Which may account for the tsunami in Japan, the tornadoes in the South, and the recent unrest in the Middle East.

It may be understandable as to how solar flares might affect weather conditions, but how would the sun affect what is going on in the Middle East?

You may want to refer back to my post on the energetic heart before reading further because it is all related. But in short, it is believed there is a correlation between what happens with the geomagnetic field, (the field that surrounds the earth, and protects it from solar flare particles), and humans. During high solar activity humans may be more tired, anxious, confused, irritated,  and less happy. There is also a direct correlation with hospital admissions, heart attacks, and traffic accidents.

We have a few more years of intensity before us, so it may behoove us to learn how to self-regulate as the geomagnetic fields are being bombarded with solar-flare particles. A large solar burst - an X flare - would affect us physcially, could blow out power grids, etc. So paying attention to what is happening with the sun may be important.

"The Global Coherence Initiative is a science based, co-creative project to unite people in heart-focused care and intention, to facilitate the shift in global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace." This website also offers information on their monitoring systems and  some very interesting findings: "For example, two or three weeks prior to earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, the earth's magnetic field changes, suggesting that a multistation monitoring system could predict earthquakes and volcanic eruptions." Which would allow human beings to prepare, of course.

Some of their findings include changes in the earth's magnetic field being associated with changes in brain and nervous system activity - including depression, incidences of suicide, memory loss, strokes, and the systhesis of  nutrients in plants and algea. There is also some evidence that when people say they can "feel" an impending planetary event - it may be scientifically based. They may be responding to actual physical signals that occur in the earth's geomagnetic field prior to an event.

We have always heard a full moon, thus gravity, has an effect on moods, but now we know we are  more wired to the pulses of the earth than we ever thought possible. It may be that we have a recipcrocal effect on the earth as well, but that will have to be for another post. In the meantime this website also has a "Live Data" tab that helps you keeps an eye on the sun, if you are so inclined.

What if they gave a war - and nobody came?

This needs to be heard. This is an incredibly powerful piece.

Thank you, Maggie's Secret Garden!

And here is something to think about:  The cost of a month in Afghanistan is roughly equivalent to 262,500 teachers; 1,995,000 children in daycare; annual health care for more than 5 million people --and this is just one month.

Time To Work Together

As most of you know, I believe that our thoughts have an effect on our world, both from a personal and planetary perspective. I believe we are all connected. I think many of you believe the same thing. But whether or not you totally understand the concepts behind this field of research, it is time for us to work together doing what we can do to help the Japanese nuclear reactor to cool down. The devastation to not only Japan, but for the world, is very real at this time.

So please take a moment today to sit quietly, center yourself, and imagine the reactor cooling down. Imagine it going from red to blue. Imagine the media reporting that it is under control and the danger has passed. Imagine the ground underneath the power plant to be stable.

Whether or not you believe what you are thinking, please take a moment to send your energy in this direction.

2012 & Web Bots

Have you ever heard of Web Bots? The Web Bot Project is an Internet software program designed by Clif High and his partner, George Ure, and claims to be able to predict future events. It was originally designed in 1997 to predict stock market trends, but the designers also claim that it can predict future events such as 9-11, American Airlines flight 587, Northeast Blackout of 2003, 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, and the BP oil spill. They have also had some misses such as a massive earthquake that was supposed to hit Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest in 2008, a complete collapse of the US dollar in 2009, and a missile launch on December 14, 2010 that would start World War III.

How, exactly, does this program work?

From Wikipedia:

Internet bots monitor news articles, blogs, forums, and other forms of Internet chatter. Words in the lexicon are assigned numeric values for emotional quantifiers such as duration, impact, immediacy, intensity, and others. The lexicon is dynamic, and changes according to shifts in emotional tension, and how humans communicate those changes using the Internet. As of 2008, there were about 300,000 keywords in the lexicon, along with with emotional context indicators which are fed into a computer-generated modelspace. They then use a technique called Asymmetric Language Trend Analysis (ALTA) developed by Clif High to generate a predictive report from a fully-populated modelspace. These predictive reports are known as ALTA or Web Bot reports. The 2010/2011 report underwent a formatting change and is titled The Shape of Things to Come - Volume Zero.

The creators of this software keep the exact methodology secret as they sell the reports on the Internet. But the idea is much the same as the little dot on the left of my blog, which if you click will take you to the Global Consciousness Project website. I talked about it here, in a previous post. The main concept is that "as the mind moves, so does matter" - Dean Radin. The little eggs that are placed all around the world, and directed by Roger Nelson from his home office at Princeton University, went crazy two hours before the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center, for example.

So what does all of this have to do with 2012?

Well, that is the interesting part. According to this particular Web Bot technology - there is absolutely nothing between December 21, 2012 and May 30, 2013! No chatter, nothing. A complete data gap. They say it could be a solar flare, an electromagnetic pole shift - they just really have no idea what it could be. They've had hits and misses in their predictions, but what fascinates me is that there is nothing there to even predict. But then it starts back up again on May 30th, 2013??

Needless to say, I'll be watching my little dot very closely during those months.

Dr. John Jay Harper

I ran across this man and his last interview while perusing Conscious Media Network's new WordPress website. It just had one line that said he had died. Intrigued, because I had not heard his name before, I followed the link to Kashonia's Blog and Internet Home. Kashonia has a rather interesting story of her own. At any rate, I decided to listen to her interview with John Jay Harper, just a few days before he died at his computer. I was so glad I did. He was someone, like myself, who straddled his beliefs between science, the scientific method, and his realization that there was so much more to our universe than can be explained with current methodologies.

I listened to this one hour, seven minute interview twice, then passed it along to my husband and older daughter. He covers a myriad of topics in a passionate, learned manner from our evolving consciousness to 2012 and what he believes is happening with our weakening electromagnetic fields, to dolphin intelligence, and near death experiences.

If you have the time and interest, I would suggest downloading the Mp3 format as I don't believe she is planning on leaving it up for much longer, and you may want to listen to it again as it moves right along. She asks that you sign into her site, so of course I did.

I would love to know your thoughts on this if you have the time.

Biocentrism

This is one of those books that makes your brain stretch, flex, and yes, even hurt at times. Written by Robert Lanza, MD, one of the most respected scientists in the world, and Bob Berman, world-renowned astronomer, together, these brainiacs attempt to prove that consciousness creates reality. In other words - reality doesn't exist outside of our minds, consciousness (life) creates the Universe. Thanks goodness for that difficult class on Perception I had in college, or this book might have been more difficult for me to understand. That class taught me, above all else, that what we see, what we hear, is actually being constructed in the brain. Light in varying wavelengths enters the pupil, reacts with the rods and cones and sends signals to the back of our brains where we actually see. Yes, we see everything in the back of our heads.

They argue that time and space are only constructs. Our way of making sense of events in our lives. Biocentrism involves the science of the brain, especially neurobiology. It also has some similarities to some of the tenets of Eastern Religions, however it is not a book about religion. Rather, it is a book on the science of who and what we are. Add to that the possibility that a single consciousness pervades everything (solipsism), and you have a book well worth reading.

This book would appeal to anyone interested in the science of consciousness, physics, biology, astronomy, and the nature of mankind. It is worth your time and energy. We are on the precipice of a great understanding that will rock our world as we know it. There is no doubt that these writers will be standing in the forefront.

The Intention Experiment

I recently finished this book by Lynne McTaggart. It was not an easy book to read but the content was often really astounding. For instance, we have always heard that plants respond when you talk to them. But did you know that if you stress a plant (such as putting a needle through a leaf), that it will remember you and react when you come near it again? These and other very interesting experiments were discussed, in scientific detail, in the book.

I just recently visited the website associated with this book. The idea is to read and understand the book, then go to the website for coordinated intention experiments. I have not had the chance to participate yet, but I found the website to very interesting.

If you feel the call to learn more about consciousness, especially focused consciousness, you might want to visit Lynne's website.

What was even more interesting to me was the community that has formed with " A Call For Conscious Evolution." This is a very exciting group, in my opinion. It is discussing all the current issues we are facing with definite ways of dealing with them. I think most us of feel pretty overwhelmed and helpless with all the problems facing our world right now. Often we just don't know what to do about it. I think this is one way to utilize a group dynamic to understand and actually work toward solving some of the problems.

Anyway, if you have a minute, you might want to check it out.

Difficult Childhoods

Lately I have been reading some blog posts that made me think about psychic energy and difficult childhoods. These particular bloggers, while humans searching for what matters along with the rest of us, also seem to be "tuned in" for a lack of a better phrase. Very sensitive to consciousness, energy, spirituality. Linda Pendelton did a post about psychic spies and remote viewing the other day. And one of the original participants in the CIA program, Joseph McMoneagle, commented that many of the psychic viewers were children of child abuse. Which of course makes sense. Children in dangerous situations need to use their instincts in order to survive, be it physically and/or mentally. These individuals, now grown, could be psychically "charged" in a way that makes them highly sensitive.

This sensitivity is good and bad for these individuals. The good is that they tune in first to all the changes going on in our world and often understand esoteric trains of thought very easily. The bad is that they are very sensitive to everything going on. They have fewer "filters." With the problems in the world, stresses at home and work, the tendency for depression and other anxiety disorders are more common.

Nde's, or near-death-experiences, often have participants returning to their bodies after resuscitation with stories of being told they have a mission to accomplish. That it wasn't their time, and no matter how hard their lives seem to be, they have not finished what they set out to do. Many return to lives spent passionately pursuing different lifestyles. Often seeing things very differently, than before the NDE.

Over the last several months I have watched some blogs go from the depths of despair, to people who seem to be much happier, and very connected to their lives in a fresh way. Much like the NDE experience, they are starting to lead very different lives. Their blogs are artistic, their voices sure and strong. They are talking about what excites them - and we are listening and following and learning in a synergistic manner.

So where am I going with this?

Well, I'm not sure. But I'm studying it. It may be what Trish MacGregor said in my comments section yesterday - we are a group of people who are meant to meet. The blogosphere is creating the venue. We are drawn to each other through intention. Whether to help each other through dark times, or to learn, or to be the first to celebrate good things that happen. To support each other. Maybe we are here to help each other "awaken" to a new way of seeing the world and all the characters in it. An NDE minus the dying part. Without all the pretense, without all the trappings of modern society, just us and the people we connect with.

What do you think?

Global Consciousness?

pic courtesy of Global One website

Have you ever had feelings of sadness, anxiousness, depression but really didn't have any reason to be feeling that way? I started noticing several years ago that feelings such as these would often correspond to something going on in the world, but not necessarily in my life. Friends would say their families were feeling depressed, yet there wasn't an easy explanation for why they were feeling that way. So it wasn't just me, or my family. Then I started noticing these bouts of sadness would often correspond to something terrible happening in the world, unknown to me at the time. I started saying things like, "I feel terrible, something bad must be happening somewhere." Needless to say, I would often get the "queer eye" for statements such as that.

Recently I came across The Global Consciousness Project website, through Princeton University, making me think I'm not so crazy after all. Did you know there are "eggs", generators actually, distributed throughout the world, that are monitoring consciousness during different events?

"Global Consciousness Project, also called the EEG Project, is an international, multidisciplinary collaboration of scientists, engineers, artists ad others. We collect data continuously from a global networked of physical random number generators located in 65 host sits around the world. The archive contains more than 10 years of random data in parallel sequences of synchronized 200-bit trials every second.

Our purpose is to examine subtle correlations that may reflect the presence and activity of consciousness in the world. We predict structure in what should be random data, associated with major global events when millions of us share intentions and emotions. The GCP/EEG network shows small but meaningful differences from expectation.

This suggests that large scale group consciousness has effects in the physical world. We need to know about this, and learn to use our full capacities for creative movement toward a conscious future."

Have you ever noticed this correlation in your life?
