The Trinity Secret

I listened to an interesting interview last night on CMN with Marie Jones on her new book The Trinity Secret.

Do you ever wonder why some things always seem to come in threes? We even say death "always come in threes." Why most religious texts have elements of threes?  (The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost) Could the Trinity actually be the Law of Attraction? You think a thought, you act on the thought, the thought manifests... Could a simple mathematical equation be the source of creation? Marie Jones makes a case for this possibility.

So how can we make this work for us? Her suggestion is to first discover what may be holding us back. Is  our subconscious blocking whatever it is that we wish to have happen? Is it old programming that was instilled in our childhood? Is it a belief within that says we are not worthy?

Start a list of all of your beliefs and give them the stress test. It may be time to reevaluate.

To hear more on this subject go here.

Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

I have always noticed how things seem to come in threes. It doesn't seem odd to me at all, so this book sounds right up my alley. Thanks for pointing me in this direction, Nancy! :-)

I like the number three. I know I'm not the only one.

Sometimes the complexity of the world is what keeps us from attaining what we wish - other people's wishes tangle the lines of communication, for instance, or something about weather patterns, the green world, the ancestors and such. Sometimes everyone's wishes clash, hence nothing can move forward.

I also think sometimes we yearn for things that would actually not serve us in any way in which case the divine wisdom gives our ideas the pink slip.

We are powerful, but we aren't alone in this beautiful, complex world. We can do a lot, but we don't control anything, even if we want to, even when we say it three times. Ya know?

Love to you, Nancy.

Interesting idea. In art and design, three elements is more interesting than two. Two is stable, balanced. Three is unstable and provides movement for the eye.

And yes, our belief system is crucial to helping the universe manifest our desires, but like Reya says, we're not totally in control.

I have no doubt that unconscious beliefs can hold us back - as for things coming in threes, it's intriguing that there might be something in that. At the very least, you have to wonder why the expression came about in the first place!

Very interesting, as always! My lucky numbers are 2 and 3. And I believe that many times, things do come in threes.
