Beautiful Lunch

(winter shot of the dining deck)

My husband and I had lunch today with the lovely Reya of The Gold Puppy. She and her friend, Dave joined us at the Sunnyside Restaurant for a lakeside lunch. It was so wonderful to finally meet her! Of course, not being a great photographer, I forgot my camera in my excitement. So no pictures. But I will say that she is very pretty, in a very wholesome way, exactly as she is on her blog. (Come to think of it all the Aquarius women I have known have been pretty.) She's as nice and as soulful as her blog portrays her to be. I know I will see her again someday, she's that kind of person - you want to see her again.

Nice restaurant. Made me want seafood. Happy to know that meeting a fellow blogger was a good experience. I guess after reading each others blogs we all feel like we know each other. I guess we do!

I think I've been there before...it looks very familiar!

as always, it's so lovely up there with that very blue sky.

Kathy - You pick up with each other as if you've know each other for eons.

JC - It was very cool!

Trish & Rob - Between meeting you and Reya, I feel so grateful, to meet such wonderful spirits. I'm blessed.

Lily - Be sure and tell us about it.

linda - Today was very blue - blue water, blue sky - a perfect day. The Sunnyside has been there for many years, I'm not surprised you might have visited if you came to the South end of the Lake.

I found a couple bloggers who live in my city, and the other day I was at a garage sale and I wondered if it could be... but no, it wasn't. I am an old lady and they both have small children, so it's not likely we will meet unless we make an effort. But you did, Lily will, I should, shouldn't I?

I would like to meet my blogger friends some day, to see the face and hear the voice. In the meantime, we write.

How cool for you and Reya. I did, once, meet a glass artist I had corresponded with for months and it was like seeing a long lost friend.

How fun to physically meet another blogger! And the restaurant on the lake looks very inviting. What food did you have? Trout?

What a beautiful spot for lunch and meeting up with a blogger "soul mate"..

I have often wondered what it would be like to meet a fellow blogger / follower... perhaps one day if the stars align.

Jarie - She's a great person.

Natalie - It was very cool. But I can only speak for myself, of course.

Brian - The restaurant is good, the company great, and the lake magnificient.

DJ - Absolutely! I was lucky in that the MacGregors were vacationing at Hood River at the same time we were in Portland for our daughter's graduation. And Reya was here in Tahoe visiting friends. Synchronicity!

Ellen - Reya is like a long lost friend, as well. I think she would be like that to many people.

Jo - I can't help but remember your story about the blogger friend...

Celeste - We had salads and fish & chips. You would think trout would be on the menu with that great big, deep, icy cold lake right in front of us, wouldn't you?

Good Cook - They may very well align.
