My New(est) Addiction

Our friends helped to addict us to this game while in Hawaii. And I am thrilled to report my game just came in the mail. It is so addicting that as we were flying home, I kept peeking at the hand of the ladies in front of me that played all the way across the ocean.

We have unsuspecting friends coming to town this weekend. (Heh heh)

It's super easy to learn and doesn't require much thought, which makes it perfect for me. You can play two to seven players but the game isn't over until the king's go wild!

Kings go wild? Is that anything like Britain's King George III? (When told the American colonists were "revolting" in 1775, he replied, "They certainly are.")

Where does one find the rules for this latest warfare (I mean card game)?

"Kings go wild" sounds like spring break for royalty...

Rob-bear - I found it on Amazon, but I think target has it, too. I think it has three decks of cards that are played.

Brian - A great thing to do to pass the time with friends.

Hilary - I know - reminds of something that Henry VIII might do.

It sounds like great fun so I'll check into it. Thanks for the hint. I could use a new addiction. We also love Rummi--the tile rummy game that can be played with tiles or cards or online.

I may have to purchase this - we are always looking for new games to play. Since we will be doing some camping up on the land this summer this should be a good addition.

Since moving to Italy a year ago, we have become addicted to Macchiaveli, a card game with 2 decks and rules like Rummi. Great fun with friends!

R.J. - Thanks for the new game - I'll check it out. We haven't played games for years, but are having fun playing Five Crown. It's renewed my interest in cards again.

Good Cook - It's an easy game - perfect for camping.

Grandmother - That sounds like this one. Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

Mama - I have no doubt if they can make an app for it - they will! :-)

What fun, it is always nice to discover new things to do! I may have to check that out, Nancy. Anything that can be played by two is always of interest. That way playing a game doesn't rely on having company.

I haven't heard of this one, but it seems like the kind of intriguing game that'll catch on everywhere!

I was thinking the other day about how many card games that I used to know and have forgotten how to play. I used to enjoy canasta but have no recollection of the rules.

It sounds like the makings of good fun. This is my first visit to your blog. I had intended only to say hello and the move on. I, instead, started reading your earlier posts and stayed far longer than I planned. I enjoyed the visit and will be back as often as I can. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Blessings...Mary
