Oh my, you guys sure do get into the spirit of things, don't you? You all look fab! All four of our teenagers have their own parties to go to this year (I'm just the cab driver, as ever), so unless my fairy Godmother rescues me, looks like there'll be no ball for me, this year (pout)..
In my country, Halloween is not a tradition but we have, as the Spanish, The day of the Dead (El dia de los muertos). The day before, the children go knock the doors and ask for candies.
Don't think will be doing anything this year... not a big deal around here except in some pubs or discos where they might organise a costume party... I'll probably be celebrating a friend's birthday instead! :o)
I haven't gone to a costume party in a few years and now that we moved to Bellingham, maybe I'll rethink that. Great costumes! I love Betty Boop; I would never have thought of that.
Halloween is one of our favorite "holidays"... TBHITW and I decorate the house, yard, walkways AND we both dress up to hand out candy.. we have been voted the best house in town for the past 5 years... I'm serious! We have dressed up as priest and nun... Hugh and bunny, zombie bride and groom and this year we will be king and queen.. of course I will post pictures the day after...
It's just one of those silly, fun, don't have to stress out about anything holidays and the kids love it!
ha. love the headless horseman costume and the batgirl is too cute...we have a batman in our midst...and another that wants to be a dolphin...i got no clue!
Since I'm being forced to go a wedding with an open bar that lasts four hours instead of hosting my annual All Hallows Eve party on Halloween this year . . . I don't rightly know just yet. Costumes are optional.
I'm a hippie this year, borrowing some of my mom's old clothes. It was a last minute thought. Last year my husband and I were Amish, that was a lot of fun. I love Halloween!
I love Halloween just to see the kids that come knocking at the door! The little ones just transform themselves to their characters...so fun to watch them play act!
I am always a witch. We will have our annual Halloween party here at the campground. This year will involve a chili, salsa, dessert cook-off.....with FABULOUS prizes! Face painting for the kiddies and a jumpoleen thingy. Carving contests and costume contests. Following the food the bravest of all will board the hay wagon and tour the spooky forest. The less brave will be playing Bingo..... for FABULOUS prizes. And this witch will be making all this happen!
I have no clue. Usually we're on the road, but this year we'll be settled in AZ. I don't know what the resort does for Halloween. I like passing out the candy, but don't expect a lot of kids in a retirement village! LOL!

Probably a 67 year old witch like I was last year... cuz I already have the costume! ;-)
I'll be on the other side of the door, enjoying all the costumes, handing out all the candy!

I will not be dressing up this year, though one year we had a halloween party and I was the statue of liberty. I still have my crown somewhere...
My older daughter will be Minnie Mouse...my younger one is still deciding.
I'm going to post my Halloween blog soon. I LOVE the headless horseman. That costume is too cute.
