The Way

This video spoke to that young girl from the 1960's that is trapped inside of me. She is really not happy with some of the things going on right now, and this was the perfect release. I found it on a new blog (to me), thewildpomegranate, and thought I would share it with you.

It was in the late 1980's that I first read about the wave of change that would hit humanity. It was said that it would build slowly, and when it reached a certain critical mass it would wash over us like a tsunami. I feel this change is taking place right now in many places and in many ways. This video speaks to a certain aspect of that tsunami.

We are all evolving humans and life as we know it will never be the same.

Are you a Wayseer?

I've been a "closet" wayseer (if that's possible) for most of my life...it's only in the last 10 years or so that I've begun to show this side of me to the world. It's good not to be an anomaly anymore!

I loved the words "comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable" in this manifesto. I really enjoy all the information that you post on your site Nancy.

A Year - I've been revisiting many songs from that era lately.

Kate - Thank you! I have always been one as well. I especially liked the last part where he says "you've found your tribe - welcome home." For many of us who have felt alone in our beliefs, it's nice to know there are others out there that are thinking the same things. I think there are many who are still in the closet, but that will change with time.

Speaking of songs, I see you're still a fan of Axl Rose and his Guns N' Roses group. Great pic.

Strange, a few weeks ago, I got out my banjo, and started singing 1960s songs (yes; protest songs — what other kind would there be?). Sang a lot of those during university. I know it might be hard to feature a Bear with a banjo, but yes, it did happen.

I need to give more thought to these Wayseeres (sp?).

I wonder if the event you remembered from the late 80's was the Harmonic Convergence in 1987? Jose Argüelles was one of the main interpreters of the Mayan calendar and its predictions for major change as I'm sure you know. According to him the last period of the nine hells ended then when the sun and six of eight planets came into alignment followed by twenty-five years of spiritual cleansing that lead to 2012.

I'm not sure I'm a wayfarer but it could be possible :-)
