Longest Lunar Eclipse

We are having the longest lunar eclipse in a century today and it will last 100 minutes. It will be completely visible from Africa and Central Asia, partly visible from other countries, but not North America. This week's full moon/lunar eclipse is the mid point of a three-point series beginning with the partial solar eclipse on June 1st and ending with another partial solar eclipse on July 1st.

So if you are feeling a little like howling at the moon - you are probably not alone!

I had no idea we were having this...thanks..it explains a lot today. I thought I left a comment yesterday on the Weiner thing but didn't see it...it was too lengthy anyway...but to the point it seems there are many people feeling the need to be seen. Not just their junk...but just to be seen, and they seem to be acting out in strange ways to get the needed attention. It looks very reality TV like to me.
Hope you're enjoying the full moon. Hoooowl!!

Since I'm so many hours ahead of you here in Italy, I've already seen the entire event. Yes it lasted 100 minutes and our sky was clear. My neighbors and I watched it - a total eclipse and awesome!

I sure wish I could see it! Several people said the moon was beautiful here last night but I couldn't see it.

No howling for me..........I've been more relaxed that usual!
