Tornadoes!

I think this video and the sounds of the person filming pretty much says it all about the devastating tornadoes hitting our southern states. Please know our hearts and prayers are with you!

I would like to talk with you about something, Nancy, but can't find contact info anywhere. Would you please email me at lisamunley@ca.rr.com?

Thanks!

Holy crap! I can't believe someone could stand there and film that monster. I'd be in my car going 120 in the opposite direction.

The devastation is just unreal. Mother Nature has really been having a time with us lately.

So tragic.

My son was in that one. Safe. Edge of the tornado two blocks from his dorm. Packed up and on his way home in the morning. Scary.

Ellen - Exactly. While living in Minnesota I decided the downstairs bathroom - in the tub.

Jayne - I know, right?

Midlife - Wow!! I'll bet you want him home, pronto!

Having experienced a few hurricanes that were frightening enough I know I never want to see a tornado bearing down. Or would it be worse at night to be woken by one you hadn't seen coming?

Oh my that is terrifying and awesome at the same time! The rapid breathing says it all. Way too close in my opinion. I was actually on the outskirts- 30 miles of one that hit Big Flatts WI. years ago. It destroyed the town. No deaths I don't think. But even 30 miles on the outskirts the weather was unbearable. I was camping. I was freaked out. We (my friends and I) spent the night in our town's fire station along with half the town. I can't image being in the path of that. Here were we live now, it is a reality as the weather has become ripe for that kind of activity. We hear the alarms from time to time and have spent several occasions under the stair case in the basement. We have been blessed that nothing more than severe storms were the result.

My prays go out to those who have been caught in this destruction and to those who have lost loved ones.

susan - I used to be terrified to go to bed when under tornado watch in Minnesota, for that very reason.

Cole - Be safe!
