We had a great time soaking in the warmth. Los Angeles in March is great, but San Diego was even better. Off to the coast and a tour of Hearst Castle, (more about that tomorrow), and home to a light snow. Can't wait to fill you in on the gossip surrounding William Randolph, just in case you've forgotten that story...
Looking forward to catching up with all of you!

I went from winter to perpetual summer... No pity party for me, but i do miss the awakening part of spring that Kansas is going through now... just a little though
Nancy, enjoy the trip. We are right behind you. In April we'll stop in San Diego and go up the coast. Blessings!
glad to hear you had a great time...welcome back...
Have fun and happy Spring to you!!
San Diego is a blast! That's where my husband graduated from Marine Corps. boot camp. We enjoyed all of the thrift stores and the little restaurants. Enjoy yourself!
Welcome back!
Looking forward to reading more... I was in Paolo Alto in early March one year and we drove south along the coast. HEAVEN, as well as an alien land. People were always asking why I wasn't bundled up when it was not quite seventy degrees. There was a guy from Alaska at the meetings, and I'm from New England. We'd look at one another and say, "SHORTS weather!"
Those hills in your photo. To think they are GOLD by June! Welcome home.
Yes, welcome back, and I look forward to those stories...
Welcome home ...
You're back!
Welcome home Nancy! I'm yearning for warmth too and looking forward to your Hearst story!
Green! Such a welcome site. Glad you had a good trip. I love San Diego.
This is my favorite time of year in CA. This is when I miss it most, when the hills are a glorious green and the air is clean and the highways less crowded with tourists. I love the Central Coast of Cali where I hope to retire. Have been to San Simeon a number of times. My mother LOVED it there. And, they retired in northern Sta Barbara Co so it wasn't more than a 2 hr drive. Am interested to hear what stories you picked up.
Yey for spring!!! :) I'm so glad you are having a great vacation! Spring has sprung here too, aaaahhhhh! :)
yea! great to see you [almost] again! can't wait to hear ALL the details! and fantastic image on this post! just what the spring doctor ordered!
Beautiful shot. Welcome back!
