Bloginar

I have found a new website (through one of you, but I can't remember who exactly), that is having a "bloginar" on energy and healing. Over the years I have read many things on energy and the mind/body connection and this series synthesises complex information very well. Some of this information is now being taught in mainstream courses. Many general practicioner offices now have Naturopathic doctors on staff, utilzing them for preventive health and alternative medicines.

Humans have an innate ability to heal themselves, and moving away from the pharma-based system we now depend on may be where healthcare needs to go in order to be sustainable. Utilizing alternatives, or working in conjunction with mainstream medicinal practices, makes sense for the future.

If you are interested, go to Healing Mudras and start here. It has several parts over the month of December.

Let me know what you think.

Interesting stuff.
I may save it for January . . . when I will have a bit more time, not to mention the need for a health overhaul!

Medical doctors have, thankfully, begun accepting more alternative methods. Emory Hospital in Atlanta has been at the forefront of this for many years.

Many years ago I was really into this stuff, so it will be interesting to see where it's gone since. I'll go check it out and let you know what I think.

Clicked on your link and this website looks interesting. If you are interested in energy as it applies to the body, you will love books by Donna Eden, "Energy Medicine" and "Energy Medicine for Women". I also use Gallo's books called "Energy Tapping" and it really works. Perhaps you are already aware of these authors and their works.

Thanks Nancy. I don't have time to read all this yet but I do have a few things that I would like to cleanse myself of without drugs.

The more talk, the more dialogue and insights into caring for our health, the better. The human body does have an amazing ability to take care of itself in so many ways, with the right self care and attention.

I'll look into it.
Since my coma, the only thing that has gotten me through is my inner peace and my will to never give up.

Nancy, the mind and the body are incredible machines. Unlike anything that man could make.. not surprising that we can tap into that power and help to heal ourselves.

When TBHITW was in the hospital this summer receiving a very nasty IV cocktail (similar to chemotherapy) it was to our delight and surprise that a hospital employee, a woman, stopped by and asked if he was interested in healing crystals or hands on healing.. she was certified in the arts of both.. how wonderful that medicine accepts all forms of healing! I believe there is room for all of it - and why not? We are incredible beings...

Interesting post! I have been meditating and doing mudra exercises and yoga since the late 70's! And I totally believe in our ability to keep ourselves healthy and to heal ourselves, too. Thanks for the link!

Yes, there are many ways to be healthy besides taking pills. I wish all doctors would realize that. God built a magnificent machine. We have yet to discover some of it's best features!
