Enjoying the season...

And the very best of what it has to offer - family, friends, love, and Evan Williams egg nog...

Taking my own advice to concentrate or "compartmentalize." Which is just another way of being mindful. Time to bake, cook, wrap, and hug those I love for the next couple of weeks. Hoping you all have a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year. I'll be lurking and occasionally posting - see you next year!

P.S. Loved all the sleeping advice from my last post! Thank you!

Good advice, I will be doing the same the next few days. Maybe I should pick up a bottle of Evan Williams too.

Happy Holidays,
Judy

I went to yet another Christmas party last night and even though I overindulged, it was not as bad as last week's party. But this morning I awoke and looking at the bottle of eggnog just made me feel a tiny bit queasy. The quote from Ticht made me feel better, though... :-)

Have a wonderful holiday! I never heard of that kind of eggnog.

I'm playing catch up on reading the blogs I follow. Sorry!

Wishing you a joyous holiday too. We are going to have enforced resting this weekend (thank goodness) due to a 100% chance of a huge snowstorm. Everything is cancelled. Stay home and wrap presents, write cards, play games and enjoy each others company.

Which for me now means, finally getting off my computer. I have been trying to catch up on blogging!

love,
Erika

Have a lovely time, concentrating on the season, Nancy!

I also hope you are getting some rest :-)

That bottle of eggnog looks surprisingly like a bottle of Jack Daniels. That seems like it is the high octane eggnog. Hey, whatever gets you through the holidays =)

I've never heard of Evan Williams, but Larry is missing his favourite brand of Egg Nog, which we get in Krogers and which is sold out the day after it appears, apparently. I'm not sure what make it is but it comes in a black carton. He doesn't like the usual stuff. I love Advocaat, which you can't buy here AT ALL!! It is made with egg yolks and brandy with a little sugar, not so sweet as egg nog here, but more of a kick with the brandy. The best stuff is made in Holland.
Blessings, Star
