I Found Green!

Hope to catch up with you later in the week. Life is very good in warmer climes. Although even here in Hawaii it is unseasonably cool!

Ahh wonderful Hawaii. The people and the music and the dancing and the beaches and the colours and the history. You are privileged in deed to be there, as I once was. Enjoy yourself.

It has also been cooler than average here in Central Texas. I am wearing a sweater at the moment which is VERY unusual for this time of year...blah!

hello there lady in the green! interesting your use of that phrase because that is exactly what i found in louisiana - and through the mountains coming back - but louisiana was lush with dogwood and redbuds and wisteria and azaleas and green everywhere - truly magnificent!!! can't wait to play catch up with you - seems i've been away forever! have a fabulous time!

Lucky you. We've had unseasonably warm weather until the last few days when it snowed several inches. aaarghhh! Waiting for that to melt and warm temps back.

What island are you on?

Hawaii! How absolutely marvelous, and I'm so glad you found some green. Spring has been rather reluctant this year, and I have been uncharacteristically impatient as I await it. Just saying, "I feel you on that one." with some ringing conviction.

It's not always like this though, not every Spring. Sometimes Winter passes without much thought from me, and I look outside to see that Spring arrived without my really noticing.

Not so this year, and I've noticed that with many other people. Do you think, Nancy, that we are all craving some positive change? That we are united in hoping for a season of new growth?

Perhaps it has to do with it being 2010, and we all chomp at the bit for a sign of difference, a positive sign that we are no longer hibernating beneath the snow!

Either way, you have a lovely time :-)

Hello,

Please could you go and visit The Wheel of Fortuna and leave a supportive message for Steve.

His partner BobRobert is in the local hospice and is not expected to live much longer.

It is not so long since his diagnosis which makes it all even more sad.

Thanks for your support.

Love,
Herrad
