Flexibility

There is just no energy going into our new website. Trish is very busy putting some of her old books into e-book form and won't be available for several months. Jen is busy working full time, taking care of a four-year-old, and launching a new marketing company on the side. That leaves me. I have the time, but not the inclination to do it by myself. After all, collaboration is much more fun.

Flexibility seems to be the word of the day. If we cannot be flexible during these energetic times - we can literally go off the deep end. Things are changing in rapid fire - from our jobs to our government to our personal lives - everything is in limbo. Change is the order of the day and if you can't bend with the times, you run the risk of breaking.

Which leaves me to this blog. Do I continue writing here? Do I put all of my energies into The Book, or do I just remain flexible - following my intuition? I would really like to finish Seth Speaks and put all of that information onto this site. It is partly for you - because I think it is fascinating that much of what Seth channeled in 1971 is proving to be true in 2012 - and partly an exercise for myself. Synthesizing information of that depth is difficult, and I would really like to have it completed for other work I am doing. On the other hand, there is so much more going on in the world right now. Great blog fodder.

So there you have it. A crossroads. To blog or not to blog? How about you? Are you at a crossroads?

I come to that crossroads about once a day. Or so.

I was going to get much more intentional about my blogging. But my intention hasn't come to fruition, Yet.

Am I worried? Only mildly. I have lots of friends in the blogsphere. I'd miss them if I left. For that reason, I won't leave. Entirely

As for the rest: I posted something today. After that, who knows?

P.S.: Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape!

Brian - Enjoy!!

Rob-bear - LOL! Loved the last comment! I am having the same problem with blogging. Is it time to move on? Or are we just coming to a bend in the road? I would miss everyone as well.

Oh, no!!! Don't go away, please... please... pretty please?... You are an awsome person and being close to you (in your blog) is a treasure to all of us.

As for the flexible dude in the picture, I was thinking... I can do that. I only cannot undo it!

All I can say is that the topics you've written about make me think and re-examine my choices. Some remain as current discussions with my Honey about our life decisions. You're a unique voice and I value you.

Absolutely at a crossroads. I nearly have a draft done on this novel, though, Nancy, so hopefully I'll have more free time soon!

Please keep blogging. I love dropping by!

Grandmother - Thank you so much. I love the idea that you can discuss these topics with your husband.

Chris - You are right, of course.

Trish - Thanks - I do have the itch to write again, and I do love the people that hang out here!

Absolutely at a crossroads myself - or maybe it's nosed pressed to a brick wall and unsure whether to look right or left. There's something fascinating about the tiny patterns the bricks are making in front of my eyes..

I always find your posts enjoyable reading Nancy. It's good you're looking for something larger to focus on and that you're willing to share your journey. Sometimes the best thing we can do is to encourage one another.

Susan - Oh no! That sounds ominous... hope all is well. I agree that sometimes the very best thing we can do is encourage one another - even if we cannot see their path clearly.

I have been at a cross road for a long while. I have many ideas, but from my past experience, I cannot execute a project for a sustained period. I have managed to write a short book, and am in the process of translating it to another language, but I also have ideas that everyday I wonder if I should do more about. I had the idea similar to the Bright Neighborhood project that you wrote about, but worry I won't have the stamina to see it through. Maybe we should collaborate!

chiu ying - I have a very hard time with following through on things that require sustained effort, as well. I always find excuses to do something else! I'm easily distracted. Collaboration is wonderful, but it is often hard to get everyone on the same page at the same time. Life is full for most people right now. I do think the Bright Neighborhood is a wonderful idea! Sometimes things start rolling and pick up speed on their own. You find people who are willing to donate their time and take some of the burden off of you. It's getting it started that is the hard part.
