Just in case you missed this:

I've always believed that dolphins are extremely smart animals.

Unfortunately, I was informed that the video from CNN "is not available in your country." I always thought I could do without CNN — here's the proof! I wonder if dolphins would watch it?

They are smart and much better behaved than a lot of humans.

Their intelligence is quite incredible and we've seen lots of evidence of that in various studies, and in events such as rescues at sea or working with injured or sick children. And of course the military has used them for various things, too. I bet the dolphins "love" that as they are spiritual beings and I doubt that is what they want to do with their life this time around.

This is the very reason we need to STOP putting them in pools to do "tricks" for people - Dolphins need to be protected and allowed to live free - just like us!

I think several species are smarter than us. also, I don't agree that most other animals don't recognize themselves in the mirror. Just because they show no interest does not mean they don't know themselves when they look in one. My cat for instance, does not like other cats. She will hiss and react in a negative manner whenever she sees one. She even did the arched back and hiss thing at a ceramic cat my sister has when she was taking care of her for me. We have a display stand that is mirrored. My cat, who reacts to every cat she sees has never reacted to her own reflection.

"Could dolphins be as intelligent as humans?" You're setting a pretty low bar, aren't you?
