Well, definitely something is going on in this world. Between the oil spill, the earthquakes, the forest fires, hurricanes, and tornadoes, and that's just in NORTH AMERICA - I sometimes wonder if the end is near.
I'm mad that I missed the eclipse last night! I went outside to take pictures of the moon, and almost got carried away by the mosquitoes!
The only thing that stays the same is that everything changes. It will be interesting to see what happens but we won't really see any result for a long time. The late 60s and early 70s were certainly tumultuous.
It certainly has been a year of changes and I think that it's only the beginning of what's to come. Love the thought for the day!

I'll stay as open as I can to whatever wants to waft through me (as part of these bigger winds) - but I don't find the need to see it happening in the stars. (I loved the faces on the clip you posted - very heartening.)
DJan - I missed it, too. I didn't feel any different today, either. But supposedly this means things can happen spontaneously and be BIG. I would think the Horizon oil spill could qualify as both.

I do feel that we are headed for big changes.. a turning point for our planet and the way we live in this world.
Change is happening all the time. some changes are bigger, some are smaller.
I expect that we will see much more repression of people everywhere. It's already happening; we'll just see more of it. Cardinal cross or not.
Marlene - I heard on PBS the other night that Brazil is planning on going out further and twice as deep to drill for oil. I wonder what it will take to finally tip us over the edge to either come up with a new energy supply or
finally drown us in oil.
Rob-bear - I'm hoping for something BIG, that will change the world for the better. But you're probably right about people. Repression has always been a way to control.

Nancy - Spain has given BP the go ahead to begin deep water drilling in the Mediterrainean. Sigh.. my home is in constant turmoil as TBHITW weighs in on all manner of oil drilling.
Have you seen "Home" the documentary. It really is a must see - and the end is a message to us all.

And, I think that we should be the change that we want to see. I hear the buzzing and humming of some great change coming, but I have heard it so many times before. It is not the future that concerns me, but the now. Whatever influences we can have on our future, happen in our present.
Change comes whether we welcome it or not so perhaps the best idea is the one so beautifully put by Bowie long ago ...
Hmn, I'm not much of a believer in astrology, yet it still doesn't stop me reading my horiscope, should I happen to trip over it (smile)!
