Our very own
Richard Boehmcke, affectionately known as Boomka,
is vying for a spot on Mad Men! Granted it is just a walk on, but please - it's MAD MEN. We know this is just the beginning for this very talented young NYC writer who has already written an
off Broadway play, and won a
video contest that landed him in Miami, all at the ripe old age of 26. He is adorably funny and if you haven't visited his blog do yourself a favor and head on over, but first cast a vote for one of our own to be on
MAD MEN!
nice. that is very cool...
ReplyDeleteI'll do it!!
ReplyDeleteSmall world: This is the second call to support a fellow blogger who wants to be on "Mad Men" - I shall vote for him (the other was a girl, so there should be no problem!).
ReplyDeleteGood luck! :-)
Vow, 85 votes already!
ReplyDeleteYou'll keep us updated, will you, pleeease?
Going there. Stat!
ReplyDeleteI'll go right on over and vote for him. He fits right in, I'd say. The last Mad Men got me plenty worried for Draper's future, BTW.
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy, I just voted for Richard! My husband and I are devoted fans of Mad Men - it's just too delicious. Thanks for the 'heads up!'
ReplyDeleteI'll vote. Just caught up on this Mad Men show. Watched all three seasons while hibernating. Love it.
ReplyDeleteLove the show and he sure looks like he would fit right in!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy Mad Men.
ReplyDeleteI voted for him...and looked through many other entries.
I like his cold medicine commercial. Very good.
Okay, I voted. He looks as if he is absolutely made for Mad Men -- which just happens to be my favorite show. :-) I'll watch for him.
ReplyDeleteCool! You do hang around celebrities, or future ones, don't you? Nice.
ReplyDeletevery cool, nancy. have cast my vote!
ReplyDeleteHi Nance: I guess this thing w/ winning a spot on Man Men is legit since you rec'd a request from someone you know. I rec'd an outreach comment on an old Mad Men post I'd written from someone I did not know and I was wary about it. Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteYes Maam. I'm heading over there now. I hope he is selected. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, I'm sure Richard appreciates the support. I can see there are others out there that are devoted Mad Men fans. It is really well done - and I agree, DJan - Don seems to be a bit shaky this season!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to Richard! I'll go and vote.
ReplyDeleteI looooooove Don Draper!
He sounds great. I feel SO out of touch because we don't get Mad Men. I'm going to see if it's available on DVD because I know I'm missing out on some special television (and that is saying something!).
