  1. OMG!! I can't believe those poor women had to wear these on top of not eating that day for the show..this reminds me of another form of feet binding that was popular in china..binding the babies feet so they remained small and crippled the women for life..I wonder if a women would create such a thing as this shoe or consider it beautiful?????????

  2. Awful footwear, I can't see anything attractive about them and they're guaranteed to give spine problems.

  3. Yikes! they'd be no good for running after buses, like I have to do most days! Actually, I like the look of them. They look like hooves, but we are not horses. Enough said!

Hehe..it's rather hilarious actually. What extent can people go to in the name of fashion and style? It seems endless!

  6. Guess it is time to admit that I do love women's feet.
Best enjoyed without a shoe or colour upon their nails. These 'shoes' however doesn't even deserve to be called so, are in my opinion a statement of 'disrespect' towards women - one can only hope that, most of all men, won't dare to buy these things to their wifes/girlfriends - ever.

  7. I wonder what desperate designer dreamed those up? Actually they almost evoke sympathy, because one wonders if the person is coping with some tragic deformity.

  8. Ridiculous - but most "fashions" on the runways are. I remember a few years back Rumor Willis was photographed with a similar pair of shoes. She was lying on her back - degrading.

  10. Okay, are these considered boots? Because I love boots, especially ankle boots, but these are an insult to our intelligence, and fashion sense. Yikes!

  11. I thought all the ugly shoe bases had been covered. Just goes to show there is no end to ugly in the name of new fashion. But seriously, what the hell was that designer thinking? Let's see how dumb the fashionistas are? They (fashion designers) are probably all placing bets on who falls for the joke first.

  12. ok, so think about this, now - what's wrong with the WHOLE picture - maybe not so much with the "obviously male" designers making such contraptions of torture and the male dominated fashion industry, as with the female models and the female customers who buy this EXPLETIVE stuff - if there were not a market, these things would never get past anything but SM male fetish fantasies - so, what's wrong with the female population that continues to give such things a market and the boys a big pay check!

  14. Hi Nancy,
just catching up here again, I'm so glad you made it home safely, I shuddered at the accident you passed!
You saw 2 eagles!! oh awesome. were they flying or perched? It must be so beautiful there now (Tahoe).
Your daughter sounds amazing, she'll be more than ready for her own canoe it sounds. The shopping experiance sounds like fun, especially with the no sales tax. It helped us on our Target Dorm Room Run. Maybe next time I go I can shop for me!
These shoes look very uncomfortable to me. I like comfort and that's about it these days.
    Have a wonderful thursday ☺

  20. Yikes! Just another designer going beyond over-the-top. I remember a very funny I Love Lucy episode where Lucy and Ethel go to Paris, and don ridiculous (supposed high fashion) get ups. Some things never change. So not cute!

  21. Wow, those are the most hideous shoes I have ever seen. The rest of the shoes are just as bad if not worse.

I don't even know why designers go so overboard for runway shows. I mean, honestly, who in their right mind buys crap like this. I don't even think I've ever seen a celeb with fashion this bad.
