I'm working on being more circumspect.

Cloudia - I agree. It's the difference between being awake and being asleep. Not easy to incorporate, however.

Rob-bear - That's a gift. I wish I had it :-)

T&R - He is a really good writer, I'm finding.

Linda - I agree. I've been doing the same thing.

Grandmother - The thing that intriqued me was how often I was just going along and not even noticing the impact I was having on others. Even when she says the right things, you can hear her quietly seething by the way she takes the air in through her nose. Sounds strange but I swear it's true. Sadly, she's a bright, funny and fun person but she's lost so many friends over the past decade and does not understand why. It's always them. I'm learning a lot from her about how I don't want to be. I do recognize my own self in her from time to time. That's actually been very helpful.Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12787493532006658679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571749075036803790.post-30363699900950052352012-08-10T08:14:53.218-07:002012-08-10T08:14:53.218-07:00Wait... you called cooking mundane? hmpf.Wait... you called cooking mundane? hmpf. The Good Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01249986191289837440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571749075036803790.post-70245252518926354462012-08-09T14:23:01.301-07:002012-08-09T14:23:01.301-07:00Such a good reminder to be mindful of our impact.Such a good reminder to be mindful of our impact.Grandmother Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18169464484379536529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5571749075036803790.post-63290852566632515552012-08-09T14:20:37.476-07:002012-08-09T14:20:37.476-07:00I try to connect with every server or retail perso...I try to connect with every server or retail person I come in contact with.
